The Western Australian Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service (WAABIRS), previously known as State Head Injury Unit, provides a state-wide, comprehensive, specialist case coordination and community-based therapy service to individuals between the ages of 16 and 65 years who have an ABI. Individuals seen typically sustain an ABI from trauma, stroke, tumour, hypoxia, severe concussion, infection etc.

What is our Team Leader role?

In this position, you will lead and coordinate the activities of the Western Australian Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service (WAABIRS) case-coordination team - a large multidisciplinary unit of allied health professionals with a range of backgrounds including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Neuropsychology, Social Work and Speech Pathology.
