We are seeking to establish a pool of Secondary - Generalist Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Wiluna Remote Community School (RCS) caters for Kindergarten to Year 12 students and has a small school population of approximately 60–100 students, supported by a positive and inclusive school culture.

The school offers an established Two-Way Science and Youth Ranger program, supporting secondary students to develop practical skills, work On-Country, and preserve cultural knowledge. A targeted literacy intervention program operates across the school and is currently expanding into the high school, with plans to strengthen numeracy in the future. Teaching and learning are guided by the Martu Seasonal Calendar, a locally developed curriculum framework created by community members to ensure learning is connected to Country, culture, and community knowledge.

Our high school program includes Teacher-led projects across combined Year 7/8 and Year 9/10 classes, supported by strong partnerships with local stakeholders to deliver innovative and meaningful learning pathways. Wiluna RCS provides a rewarding professional experience for Teachers seeking to build their skills in a remote context while making a genuine difference for students and community.

Most students attend from Wiluna town and nearby communities, including Bondini and Kutkabubba, with a school bus service providing daily transport.
