Kingston Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
At Kingston PS, our mission is simple yet powerful: to prepare every student for life success by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and character to thrive, contribute positively to society, and pursue excellence in all they do.
At Kingston PS, we pursue excellence in teaching and learning and hold high expectations for both our students and ourselves. We are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-informed teaching practices aligned with the Department of Education's Quality Teaching Strategy and continue to build staff capability through collaboration, reflection, and ongoing professional growth.
We take pride in our whole-school approaches to literacy, numeracy, and character development through the Virtues and Resilience Project. Our core values of Care, Courage, Respect, and Excellence underpin our school culture and guide our interactions, decision-making, and commitment to continuous improvement.
We believe that every staff member plays a vital role in supporting student success. Through a strong collaborative and wraparound approach, our staff work together to promote student wellbeing, engagement, belonging, and achievement. Complementing this work is our dedicated Student Support Services Team, which provides specialised support and expertise for students requiring additional intervention and works alongside staff, families, and external agencies to ensure all students have every opportunity to thrive.
Located just 150 kilometres south of Perth in the growing coastal community of Australind, Kingston PS is an Independent Public School catering for approximately 600 students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
We are seeking highly effective educators who are committed to evidence-based practice, collaborative inquiry, and high-impact teaching. Successful applicants will be dedicated to fostering an inclusive learning environment where every student is known, valued, supported, and challenged to achieve their personal best.

The Role
Kingston PS is seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers. Suitable applicants will ideally be passionate, motivated, and skilled educators who are committed to improving outcomes for every student through high-impact, evidence-informed teaching practices. They should demonstrate a strong commitment to literacy and numeracy improvement through explicit teaching, whole-school approaches, and the effective use of instructional strategies that maximise student engagement, achievement, and growth.
They should pursue excellence in teaching and learning, maintain high expectations for all students, and value collaborative planning to develop consistent, high-quality teaching and learning programs. Suitable applicants will ideally demonstrate a commitment to the Department of Education's Quality Teaching Strategy through reflective practice, the use of evidence to inform decision-making, and a focus on continual improvement in student outcomes. Applicants should be committed to creating safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments where all students are known, valued, and able to succeed, regardless of their abilities, backgrounds, or individual needs. They should also demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and evolving school environment, adapting their practice with flexibility and responsiveness to meet changing student, classroom, and whole-school needs.
It is desirable that applicants possess highly developed collaborative and interpersonal skills that enable them to actively contribute to professional teams and build effective partnerships with colleagues, families, and the broader community. Applicants should be reflective practitioners who actively engage in professional learning, seek feedback to refine their practice, and contribute positively to a culture of continuous improvement within the school.
