The Role

As an Arts Specialist Teacher at Falcon PS, you will ideally bring creativity, enthusiasm and a student-centred approach to delivering engaging arts learning experiences. The successful applicant should value collaboration and continuous improvement, with an understanding of evidence-informed teaching practices and the use of student data to inform planning and support individual learning needs.

Strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum is highly regarded, along with experience delivering Visual Arts and/or Performing Arts across primary year levels. The successful applicant will ideally create practical, meaningful and culturally responsive learning experiences that encourage students to build confidence, creativity and artistic skills. The ability to contribute across more than one arts discipline would also be highly valued.

Our school also value educators who build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families and who enjoy contributing to the wider school community. This role provides an opportunity to celebrate the strengths, stories and perspectives of students and the community through creative and inclusive arts experiences.
