The Role
What makes this opportunity special?
The successful applicant will teach in a dedicated, exceptionally well-resourced music room, equipped with an extensive collection of tuned percussion and no tune instruments and resources to support creative, practical and engaging lessons. You would have the opportunity to build on an established program while bringing fresh ideas to classroom music, drama, repertoire selection, musical productions and student performances.

Who are we looking for?
We are ideally looking for a passionate music educator who brings musical expertise, creativity and enthusiasm to their teaching and inspires students to discover the joy of music. Whether your strengths lie in classroom music, choral work, school bands, instrumental ensembles or musical performance, we welcome the skills, experience and fresh ideas you can bring to Illawarra. Music is a valued and celebrated part of our school culture, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to providing rich, engaging musical experiences for every student.
