We are seeking to establish a pool of Kindergarten to year 6 (K-6) Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

At Attadale Primary School (PS) we build foundations for life. Our school is a dynamic place of learning where everyone belongs. Our identity and positive reputation in the community is built upon two key factors - culture and successful students. We have built a brand identity that sets us apart due to the vast opportunities that exist for our students.

Attadale PS is located in the suburb of Attadale just a few hundred metres from the banks of the Derbarl Yerrigan. We cater for students from Kindergarten to Year Six and are supported by our engaged and positive school community which includes our P and C and School Board.

Find out more about our school by visiting attadaleps.wa.edu.au or Schools Online.

The Role

Suitable applicants will ideally be passionate, motivated and highly effective educators who are committed to improving outcomes for every child, every day through evidence based practice and our agreed whole school approaches.

They should display the capacity to deliver strong academic outcomes for all students through high quality explicit teaching aligned with the Attadale Instructional Model. Suitable applicants will have high expectations for student achievement and engagement, value collaborative planning, and contribute to the development of consistent, high quality teaching and learning programs across year levels and learning areas.

We are seeking educators who understand that student success is supported by both academic excellence and strong wellbeing practices. Suitable applicants should display the ability to create inclusive, engaging learning environments where all students feel connected, supported and able to thrive. This includes a commitment to whole school wellbeing initiatives such as The Resilience Project and the use of effective engagement strategies to maximise participation and success for every learner.

Suitable applicants should also be able to differentiate effectively to meet the diverse needs of students, providing appropriate support and intervention where required, while ensuring capable and high achieving students are consistently challenged and extended to reach their full potential.

It is desirable that suitable applicants possess strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, enabling them to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents and the wider community. They will ideally  contribute positively to the school's culture, support the school's strategic directions and work in partnership with others to achieve outstanding outcomes for all students.
