The Role

Dalyellup College is committed to the strategic development of high-quality teaching and learning in every classroom, supported by a developing culture of classroom observation, feedback and professional learning teams. The successful applicant will ideally be enthusiastic, innovative, motivated and improvement focused, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. They should display a strong understanding of evidence-based, high-impact teaching and learning strategies to engage students and support high levels of progress. They should be reflective practitioners who use student performance data to inform planning and deliver purposeful, relevant learning experiences that cater for individual student needs.

The successful applicant will ideally be enthusiastic and motivated in promoting Physical Education and Health within the school and will contribute to the coordination and organisation of school sporting events. They should be well organised and committed to developing positive relationships and maintaining high expectations for all students.

Knowledge and competency in the Physical and Health Education components of the Western Australian (WA) Curriculum and reporting schedule is highly desirable. The ability to teach Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Physical Education Studies and/or Outdoor Education is also highly desirable.
