Piara Waters Senior High School (SHS) is Western Australia’s newest secondary public school, which opened in 2023 to serve the vibrant and multicultural community of Piara Waters. The Role

We are looking for dynamic, adaptable and collaborative individuals who are committed to working effectively as part of a team. The successful applicant will ideally be student focused, participate in ongoing professional learning opportunities and continually reflect on their own teaching practice to enhance student engagement and achievement of outcomes.

You should be innovative, knowledgeable and possess a thorough understanding of instructional and curriculum expertise whilst keeping abreast of the latest developments within the Health & Physical Education Learning Area.

• hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
• be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website.

• consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
