We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Support Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. A mandatory CV template is provided for use. The remaining AITSL domain will be assessed as part of the further assessment stage, for shortlisted applicants only.

The Role

Joining our team, suitable applicants would teach within our Endorsed Education Support Program across Years 7 to 12. The key is relationships. Teachers who thrive here are the ones students trust, people who hold high standards and show genuine care. This is the quality that matters most.

The desired applicants will ideally employ excellent interpersonal skills and be capable of providing high quality learning experiences for all students. As members of our teaching staff, suitable applicants would be expected to continually explore the latest in teaching and learning pedagogy and to introduce new ideas and technologies. We use data to improve our courses, our practice and our student outcomes. Ideally, we would like our teachers to look honestly at what the data is telling them, identify the key next steps, take action, and then confirm our students have progressed. Ultimately, we are looking for teachers who strive to improve the learning area and add value to our pursuit of the vision.

Suitable applicants will ideally use explicit teaching strategies and exhibit effective classroom management skills to enhance student learning and wellbeing.
