The Role
As an Education Support Teacher, the successful applicant would provide strong pastoral care to our students with diagnosed disabilities. We are seeking applicants who are hardworking and knowledgeable about a range of disabilities and the implementation of strategies to support and enhance individual development in literacy, numeracy, and independent living skills. The successful applicant should positively manage a team of Education Assistants to create a safe and supportive learning environment for students. They will ideally be able to engage with, and contribute to, the school community and work collaboratively with families, therapists, and outside agencies to improve student outcomes.
The successful applicant will ideally display flexibility, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional learning. They should be an active contributor to collaborative team planning and possess the ability to develop, implement, and assess engaging programs using an integrated curriculum approach that is differentiated to meet the diverse needs of students.

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
