The Role
Eaton CC is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Digital Technologies Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an educator with the knowledge and skills to deliver engaging Digital Technologies programs and inspire students to develop the skills needed for an increasingly digital world. Teachers at all stages of their career, including graduates, are encouraged to apply.
The successful applicant will ideally be passionate about contemporary, relevant learning and able to provide engaging and purposeful experiences for students with a diverse range of abilities and interests. You should have a sound understanding of the Western Australian Digital Technologies Curriculum, with the capacity to teach across Years 7–12 highly regarded.
The College is keen to continue developing and expanding its Digital Technologies programs. Depending on the skills, experience and interests of the successful applicant, there is scope to develop learning opportunities across areas such as coding and programming, cybersecurity, gaming, robotics, artificial intelligence, digital systems and other emerging technologies.
Applicants should be able to use effective classroom management, explicit teaching and differentiated instruction to create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment. We are particularly interested in an educator who can connect curriculum with contemporary technologies and real-world applications, developing students’ creativity, computational thinking and problem-solving skills.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
