This talent register will allow you to express your interest in short term opportunities that arise within the Family and Criminal Law Divisions at Legal Aid WA
This role comprises of administrative, secretarial and office management responsibilities.
You will bring a positive, professional and organised approach to your work, together with the ability to work effectively in a busy legal environment.

- Opportunities are for full time and part time fixed term, up to 12 months with the possibility of extension totalling 24 months.
- The register is actively monitored, and if an opportunity arises that suits your skills and experience, we may contact you for an informal catch up to discuss your areas of interest and availability.
- Your CV will remain active on the register for 3 months. After this time, you will need to re-submit your CV if you would like to remain on the register. Please ensure your CV includes your current information.
- Registering your interest does not guarantee an offer of employment.
- Assessment of suitability will be carried out on a needs basis. This is not a formal selection process, so outcomes and/or feedback will not be provided.
To be successful in this opportunity, you will need:
- Administrative or legal assistant/secretarial experience, preferably within a legal environment.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate both written and orally with a diverse range of people, and on a variety of topics.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage varying priorities and workloads to achieve deadlines.
- Sound comprehension of grammar, punctuation, and accurate spelling.
- Demonstrated high standard of word processing and data entry skills.
- Ability to draft basic legal documents.
