If you are a financial systems leader driven by delivering results through your team building system improvements, relationships and capability in stakeholders, then you could be the Senior Systems Coordinator Finance we’re looking for.
The Senior Systems Coordinator Finance responsible for managing and ensuring the integrity of the Financial Information Management Systems (FMIS) and related third-party systems, including the financial reporting solutions for the organisation.
The Senior Systems Coordinator Finance ensures the successful implementation of related projects within the Finance division and assists in ensuring that the FMIS is available, maintained and enhanced to support operations and the changing needs of the organisation.
This is a permanent, full-time position. This process may be used to fill future similar permanent or fixed-term positions that may arise within the Department and across the WA public sector in the next 12 months from the initial date of appointment.
To be successful for this position, you need to demonstrate:
- Demonstrated experience in the administration, maintenance, support, development and implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning system, in a large and complex organisation.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial and accounting principles, controls and processes within a systems context.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing people in terms of planning, managing and prioritising work to meet deadlines including forward thinking around delivery outputs and risks.
- Demonstrated experience effectively consulting, collaborating, negotiating and relationship-building with key stakeholders on complex financial systems related issues.
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving and well-developed conceptual and analytical skills, with the ability to provide innovative solutions to resolve problems and issues.
- An accredited tertiary qualification in information technology, business, or related discipline, or an approved equivalent.
- Demonstrate the behaviours within the leadership context of Personal Leadership as outlined below.
Core leadership behaviours outlined in Leadership Expectations are applicable to this role and should be demonstrated in the context of Personal Leadership. The Personal Leadership context is about the work of individuals not yet in traditional leadership positions who make a direct and immediate difference to the agency.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Financial Management Information Systems, such as Technology One, in a government context would also be an advantage.
