We currently have one, full-time, 12-month fixed term position available with the possibility of extension or permanency.
Looking for more than procurement? Lead contracts, procurement, facilities and asset management in a diverse and impactful role.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Procurement Officer to lead procurement and contract management activities that enable our people to deliver high-quality audit services to Parliament and the community.
This is a diverse role that combines procurement expertise with contract management, asset management, facilities oversight and stakeholder engagement. Working closely with business areas across the organisation, you will provide trusted advice, manage procurement processes from planning through to contract establishment, and help ensure value-for-money outcomes that meet legislative and policy requirements.
About you
You are a collaborative and solutions-focused procurement professional who can build productive relationships and confidently navigate complex procurement matters. You combine strong technical expertise with sound judgement and a customer-focused approach. To be successful, you will bring:
- Experience managing medium complexity to high-risk contracts.
- Knowledge of government procurement policies and best practice.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to build effective stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes.
- A commitment to integrity, accountability and public sector values
