This is for a Fixed Term Part Time appointment until the 09/12/2027 at 60.80 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Position Profile: We are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Pharmacist (CancerServices).

This role supports the planning, organisation, and delivery of clinical pharmacy services to cancer patients within the regions, with a strong focus on TeleChemotherapy services and site support; managing on the Electronic Oncology Management System and other pharmacy ICT application related to cancer services; medication pathway governance; clinical workforce development; safety, quality and risk; and research/quality improvement. It facilitates the safe provision of cancer therapies and supportive care to regionally based patients. Additionally, the role provides strategic advice on projects related to cancer pharmacy across WACHS and is also involved in audit and policy work to ensure the highest standards of care and compliance.

Area Profile: The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is the largest country health system in Australia and one of the biggest in the world, providing health services to approximately half a million people, including 45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million square kilometre area. The organisation comprises seven regions, with a strong network of public hospitals, health services and health centres located across rural and remote Western Australia.
