About The Role:

Senior Program Manager

The Senior Program Manager provides strategic planning, project advice to the Department of Education (Education) in support of the management of building

maintenance and improvement initiatives. Working closely with Education and individual schools, the position is responsible for leading and managing programs and projects of a medium to significant risk, including the management of contracts and contractors, in-house project teams (as required), and private sector professionals.

About You:

You are an experienced project professional with a strong background in construction, maintenance or infrastructure delivery. You excel at managing complex programs across multiple sites, building trusted stakeholder relationships and delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.

About The Role:

Senior Manager Low Value Maintenance

This position is responsible for managing the delivery of high-volume breakdown repairs and routine maintenance services to government owned buildings in the Perth Metropolitan Area.

About You:

You are a strategic leader with experience managing large-scale maintenance programs and operational service delivery. You combine strong contract and stakeholder management skills with a focus on continuous improvement, risk management and achieving quality outcomes for clients and communities.

These positions operate in the context of Leading Others. This means that you will motivate and enable others to deliver high quality work. You will balance time between doing the work and coaching, guiding and developing others. This requires a significant shift in thinking from ‘doing’ to supporting others to ‘do good work’; and consideration of present and future needs when allocating time to the team and projects you lead. You will articulate how work is to be done, providing clear direction and feedback.

How to Apply:

If you have what it takes to be part of our dynamic and forward-thinking team, submit the following in MS Word or PDF format only:

  1. A comprehensive CV that shows your skills, experiences and key achievements, including the contact details of two referees (with one being your current or most recent supervisor).
  1. Cover letter of two (2) pages or less, outlining how you meet the essential requirements of the role and demonstrate leadership behaviours.

Please ensure you apply before the closing deadline as we won’t accept late and incomplete applications.
