Position Profile and Role
South Metropolitan Health Service is currently seeking a Senior Human Resource (HR) Business Partner to join our team.
We currently have one Fixed-Term, Full-Time appointment until 31/08/2027, with possibility of extensions and/permanency, available to be filled immediately.
This position leads and coordinates the management of complex HR issues - by effectively partnering and providing professional, technical and strategic advice and support to managers and directors - to build their capacity to effectively manage complex people matters in their service.
This role also commits to undertake the duties of the role in accordance with the WA Health Code of Conduct, the South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) Vision of Excellent health care, every time, and Values of Care (Kaaradj), Integrity (Ngwidam), Respect (Kaaratj), Excellence (Beli-beli) and Teamwork (Yaka-dadjoo).

- Applicants must have contemporary HR Business Partnering experience in managing complex and sensitive employee matters including case management involving conduct, grievances and other workplace related issues.
- Applicants must demonstrate highly developed communication, consultation and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and guide senior stakeholders and establish collaborative relationships.
