The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Goldfields is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Health Professional - Child & Adolescent Mental Health to join our multidisciplinary Community Mental Health team in Kalgoorlie. In this rewarding role, you will provide specialised assessment, treatment, and case management services for infants, children, adolescents, and their families across the Goldfields region.

About the Role

As a Senior Health Professional, you will:

• Deliver specialised mental health assessments and evidence-based interventions for infants, children, and adolescents.
• Manage a complex caseload and provide comprehensive case management services.
• Work collaboratively with families, schools, GPs, hospitals, community organisations, and other service providers.
• Develop strong partnerships and shared-care arrangements to support client outcomes.
• Participate in clinical review, supervision, quality improvement, and service development activities.

1.  Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive mental health assessment, evidence-based interventions, comprehensive risk assessment & safety planning. 
2.  Ability to provide culturally safe, person-centred, individualised care in a remote setting.
3.  Strong communication and relational skills with consumers, families, colleagues and external stakeholders, including engagement in inter-agency liaison and collaboration.
4.  Ability to manage a varied and complex caseload, with acute presentations.   5
5. . Ability to provide guidance, support and supervision to junior members of staff.
