This is an Fixed Term appointment for 0.6 FTe at 45.6 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

This is located withn the Child Development Service South Region

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for other ‘similar’ vacancies within CAHS and/or the wider WA public sector. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

Position Profile: 

The Child and Adolescent Health Service are seeking dynamic and values-driven individuals to be considered for the role of Senior Audiologist within our Child Development Service team.  Bring your passion and commitment and make a difference to those that matter – the next generation.  Whilst children develop at their own pace, some experience challenges and need additional support.

The Child Development Service are seeking a friendly, passionate and skilled Senior Audiologist who can support infants, children and young people with developmental concerns to reach their full potential.

As a Senior Audiologist, you will plan, coordinate and manage a high quality audiological service for clients within the Child Development Service.  You will assess and diagnose a general and complex caseload of children with suspected hearing impairment utilising an advanced level of clinical practice and support within the Child Development Service.

About the Child Development Service:  The Child Development Service provides multidisciplinary assessment and intervention services to infant, children and young people with developmental delay or difficulties that impact on function, participation and/or the parent-child relationship. 

Clinicians adopt a child and family-centred approach, working in partnership with families to address developmental concerns that are of priority to the family.

Our teams include Clinical Psychologists, Developmental Paediatricians, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists and other allied health professionals.

The Child Development Service provides services at approximately 18 locations across the metropolitan Perth area, as well as providing home, school and community visits as needed.

  • Must be able to start Monday, 28 December 2026, however can be negotiated to Monday 04 January 2027.
  • Must be available to work Mondays within the CDS South region, which is inclusive of Armadale, Murdoch and Peel sites. Other days of work to be determined, dependant on operational needs.
