About the opportunity

There is currently one (1) permanent position available for immediate filling. 

The Kimberley Development Commission (KDC) is seeking an experienced Administration Officer who will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the KDC. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing all administrative functions within the region, in particular, relating to financial management and recordkeeping. Beyond these responsibilities, you will also deeply be involved in managing the administrative systems to support the KDC, ensuring that all files, correspondence, and documents are accurately maintained and easily accessible. You will assist with managing contracts, coordinating project timelines, and liaising with other internal and external stakeholders to streamline operations.

We are looking for individuals with:   

  • Demonstrated experience in provision of a contemporary general office administration support service.
  • Exceptional organisational and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively.
  • Financial management skills to undertake all invoicing and processing of payments, including managing stakeholder relationships

DPIRD is an Emergency Management Agency and all employees may be required to work or travel during, or outside of, normal business hours to assist with incidents and emergencies.
