We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
North Tom Price Primary School (PS) is one of two primary schools located at Tom Price in the Pilbara region of WA, approximately 1465km from Perth. The school has attractive grounds which adjoin the local oval and is surrounded by the nearby ranges of the picturesque Hamersley Ranges.
The renowned Karijini National Park is a short drive away providing a picturesque recreational area to visit and enjoy. The school has approximately 280 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our students come from all over the world including Australia, New Zealand, Philippines and Thailand.

The Role
Suitable applicants will ideally bring a positive, caring approach and a commitment to supporting excellence within our school. They will ideally value building respectful, collaborative relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and the wider community. You will ideally model effective and quality customer and administrative support service delivery and use excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in collaboration with administration team, school support staff, our school community and teaching staff.
In addition, you would support student-related activities such as assisting with student enrolment procedures and operate a range of software packages particularly databases and word processing. Knowledge of the Student Information System (SIS) Compass and (RM) Billing would be desirable.

- Demonstrated experience in financial processes and procedures, including the handling of debtors, creditors, reconciliations, and /or preparing financial returns.
- Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
