We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Alinjarra Primary School (PS) provides a safe, caring and inclusive environment for students, which offers a full, student-centred curriculum and encourages strong community participation.
Catering for Kindergarten to Year 6 students, our community consists of a variety of nationalities with over 30 different languages spoken by our families. Our staff are friendly, experienced, passionate and committed to improving the outcomes for our students, with most staff being long-serving members of the school community.

The Role
As School Officers, you will be the first point of contact for our school and play a key role in providing high-quality, responsive administrative support to the Manager Corporate Service (MCS) and Administration Team.
We are seeking proactive, approachable and community-focused person who can anticipate the needs of the team, use initiative and contribute positively to the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy school environment.
Responsibilities include welcoming and assisting students, families and visitors, answering telephone enquiries, responding to routine requests, supporting student enrolments and providing information, advice and documentation as required. The desired applicants will ideally work collaboratively and autonomously to ensure the needs and expectations of our school community are met with professionalism, care and efficiency.
The desired applicants will ideally have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to problem-solve, prioritise competing tasks, meet deadlines and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to assist wherever needed, combined with strong initiative and a commitment to being a reliable and supportive member of the administration team, is highly important.
Proficiency in relevant school and administrative systems, including Compass, School Information Systems, RM Billing, RM Finance and HRMIS, will be highly regarded.
