Are you a highly organised administrator with a passion for learning, training coordination and compliance?

We are seeking a proactive Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Officer to join our Learning and Organisational Development team. The position will be based at our Guildford Training Centre, with occasional work required at the East Perth Public Transport Centre and Claisebrook Depot.

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting nationally recognised training programs delivered through the PTA's Registered Training Organisation. You will coordinate a broad range of training activities, maintain accurate training records, support compliance requirements, and provide exceptional service to internal stakeholders across the organisation.

Working within a dynamic and collaborative team, you will coordinate training schedules, manage learner records, support Learning Management Systems, assist with audits and reporting, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance learning and development outcomes across the PTA.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys balancing administration, stakeholder engagement, training coordination and compliance responsibilities while supporting the development of a skilled workforce.

About You!

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating training, learning and development, or workforce capability programs.
  • Sound knowledge of the 2025 Standards for Registered Training Organisations as they relate to assessment practices and records management, supported by strong administrative and organisational records skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Experience working within an RTO, Vocational Education and Training (VET) environment, or a compliance-focused training function.
  • Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using computer systems and learning technologies, including the Microsoft Office suite, learning management systems used within the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process and system improvements.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
