There are currently four (4) positions available for immediate filling.
Two (2) permanent, full time positions are based in the Perth CBD.
The remaining two (2) positions are fixed term, full time roles based in Welshpool for a period of twelve (12) months, with the possibility of extension until 30 June 2028 and/or permanency, subject to business requirements.
About the role
Do you have experience in campaign or high volume recruitment? We’re seeking a self motivated recruiter who can lead a small team in the end to end recruitment of community, health and custodial roles within Corrective Services. If you thrive on planning schedules and building relationships with business areas in a hands-on capacity, this could be the perfect position for you!
The Recruitment Team Lead is a hands-on leadership role responsible for guiding and supporting Senior Recruitment Officers while overseeing the day-to-day delivery of recruitment services. The role works directly with stakeholders to manage recruitment, provide expert advice, and ensure operational vacancies are filled through efficient, compliant and candidate-focused recruitment and selection processes.

Suitability Requirements
Through the recruitment process, we will be looking for candidates who can demonstrate skills, experience and attributes in relation to the following:
Shape and Manage Recruitment Strategy – High level knowledge and understanding of best practice recruitment and selection methods with the ability to interpret awards, agreements, legislation, policy, and procedures.
Achieve Results – Able to monitor progress against performance expectations to ensure deadlines are met, and apply and develop capabilities to meet performance expectations, and be responsive to changes in requirements.
Communicate and Influence Effectively – Able to structure messages clearly and succinctly orally and in writing, focus on gaining a clear understanding of other comments by listening and questioning for clarity, check that own views have been understood, and listen to differing ideas to develop an understanding of the issues.
Eligibility
To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
