This is a Permanent Full-Time appointment at 75 hours per fortnight.

Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision. 

Position Profile: We are seeking a suitably experienced and enthusiastic person to join us as a Project Officer.

The position provides executive support to and undertakes research and investigation on behalf of the Chief Medical Officer. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Undertake research and analysis concerning health policy & clinical reform issues.
  • Support projects relating to health policy & clinical reform.
  • Provide executive and project support for planning/research groups as required.
  • Prepare briefs, ministerial correspondence, responses and reports as required.
  • Liaise with health workforce stakeholders including other Branches and Divisions, other government departments and agencies on specific projects.
  • Coordinate human resource requests and supports Manager to complete human resources processes within the Office of the Chief Medical Officer.
