About the Role
As the incoming principal, you will be responsible for ensuring continuity, stability and strong relational leadership, particularly as the school moves into its next strategic phase. We are seeking a leader with strong interpersonal skills who will be able to establish trust quickly with staff, students, parents and the wider community.
You will build and sustain strong, purposeful relationships across the school community and with external stakeholders, recognising that achieving the school’s mission requires collective effort. Your leadership will promote a cohesive and inclusive school culture focused on meeting the diverse learning needs of all students and enabling them to thrive.
A key aspect of this role involves maintaining the strategic momentum of the school whereby you will be required to lead the development of the school’s next Business Plan through meaningful engagement with staff, students, families, School Board and wider community. The incoming Principal will require the skills to lead a strategic approach to this work, build collective ownership and translate evidence and consultation into a clear and achievable Business Plan.
To be successful in this role you will ideally be relational, decisive, and guided by strong personal and professional values. You should display effective instructional leadership skills and work effectively with the current school leadership team. It is an exciting opportunity to build on the current successes of the school and position it for a successful next phase of school improvement.
