About The Role

Are you passionate about turning data into meaningful insights that drive operational performance? We are seeking a proactive and analytical Performance and Data Coordinator to support the monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement of rail service performance across our network. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate the collection, validation, analysis and reporting of operational data, providing accurate and timely insights that help inform critical business decisions, improve service reliability and enhance the customer experience.

Working closely with operational stakeholders, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity and quality of performance data, investigating service disruptions and identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. You will also support and enhance reporting systems and dashboards, provide guidance to end users, and contribute to the development of innovative reporting solutions that enable the business to make evidence-based decisions. About You

To be successful in this role you will have: -

• Proven experience in data collection, analysis and reporting, with a strong understanding of data quality principles and the ability to ensure the accuracy, integrity and reliability of operational data.
• Demonstrated capability in developing and maintaining reporting systems and dashboards, including PowerBI solutions that deliver timely insights and support operational and business performance outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and translate complex data findings into clear, meaningful information for diverse audiences.
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience investigating complex datasets, identifying the drivers of performance issues and determining root causes to support informed decision-making.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI and the Microsoft Office Suite, with experience providing user support, conducting ad-hoc analysis and maintaining reporting tools and business systems. Experience with SQL, Python or similar would be an advantage.

Experience in a rail, transport, or operations environment would be highly regarded.
