Lead Information Governance Across a Modern Public Sector Organisation.

Permanent full-time position available!

About You

At North Metropolitan TAFE, we are looking for an experienced leader to shape how information, records, data governance and privacy are managed across one of Western Australia’s largest vocational education providers.

This is an opportunity to influence organisation-wide governance, strengthen privacy and compliance frameworks, and lead the strategic direction of information management in an environment undergoing significant digital transformation. Working closely with senior leaders, you will ensure our information supports better decision-making, protects stakeholder trust, and enables innovation into the future.

You will lead the College's information governance function, ensuring records, privacy, data stewardship and information management practices are effective, compliant and fit for the future. A key part of the role will be guiding the organisation through evolving governance requirements, emerging technologies and increasing expectations around privacy, security and responsible information use. You will provide strategic advice to executive leaders, oversee compliance and audit activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen how information is managed across the organisation. You will also lead a specialist team, building capability, fostering collaboration and delivering practical solutions that support business outcomes across a diverse and complex operating environment.

There is an option to accrue an additional two weeks leave each year on top of your standard four weeks annual leave.
