About Corporate Services

The Corporate Services team includes human resources, procurement, payroll, business services, and digital and technology services. It helps the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport to reach its mission to enable dynamic and inclusive communities and support the WA economy through effective regulation and the facilitation of outstanding sporting and cultural experiences and opportunities. Importantly, several of the teams provide a shared service to our colleagues working in the Cultural Statutory Authorities including the WA Museum, State Library of WA, Art Gallery of WA and the Arts and Culture Trust. 

About the role

Are you passionate about cyber security and ready to take on a vital role in protecting our technology environment?

We are looking for a proactive Manager Cyber Security to lead, strengthen and enhance our security procedures, policies, and processes.

In this key leadership role, you will manage and mitigate security risks, monitor threats, and oversee critical tasks like penetration testing and vulnerability scanning to ensure compliance. You will also report on various security risks, helping us stay ahead of potential threats.

We are looking for individuals with:

• Experience in the implementation of a digital information and cyber security work program in a cloud-first environment.
• Experience responding to, containing and recovering from cyber security incidents.
• Experience leading a cyber security team.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving challenges.
• Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels

We have one permanent, full time (75hrs p/f) position available.
