This is a 6 month fixed term, part-time (0.8FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2026 with possible extension (12 months) and/or permanency

Dumbleyung Primary School is a small, community-oriented school with 60 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6). Students and staff are well-known to each other and share a sense of belonging and pride in their school.

The Role

As the Manager Corporate Services (MCS) the successful applicant will work closely with the principal to establish and be responsible for the financial, physical and human resource processes of the school to deliver improved outcomes for the school community. The successful applicant will ideally be able to work independently with autonomy. They will oversee the business operations and work collaboratively within a small team, embedding the school culture and promoting excellence. The successful applicant will ideally have flexible communication skills and, as a leader in the school, model exemplary professionalism and commitment to exceptional customer service; maintaining confidentiality at all times and ensuring the community has complete confidence in the school.

The MCS will be responsible for implementing sound, consistent management and budgeting practices and systems in line with Department Policies and Procedures. The successful applicant will ideally foster effective human resource management practices, occupational safety and health procedures and display strategic oversight and effective management of buildings, facilities and assets at the school while providing reception and customer service.
