We are seeking a Jobs and Skills Employment and Training Coordinator.

The Jobs and Skills Centre (JSC) is a free service offering career, training and employment assistance as well as partnerships with industry.  The Centre is a one-stop-shop for anyone looking to improve their skills and job prospects – including students, jobseekers and career changers.  It will provide a culturally responsive service to Aboriginal people.  The JSC will also engage with the local community and industry to help build local prosperity.

The Jobs and Skills Employment and Training Coordinator works with industry and employers to implement strategies and assist them to develop their workforce through recruitment, retention and skills development, whilst also providing assistance and support to individuals looking for career and employment opportunities.

This role provides advice to the TAFE on current and emerging skills needs of industry and business.  The coordinator encourages employers to provide apprenticeship/traineeship and other work opportunities to jobseekers and graduates.

We are looking for people who are self-driven relationship builders with a passion for supporting individuals, strengthening communities, and creating meaningful employment and training opportunities.

What we offer:

  • Relocation allowance between the ranges of $6,500 and $8,500 depending on locality, if relocating from another region within Western Australia.
