About the role

We are looking for experienced personnel/payroll officers to join our HR team. The position works closely with payroll and recruitment colleagues to process and verify accurate fortnightly personnel, leave and other administrative transactions using the AscenderPay Human Resources Management Information System (HRMIS). You will also provide generalist advice to staff and managers around Award and policy information, staffing establishments and leave calculations.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Enthusiastic and energetic with a positive outlook.
  • Always willing to help team members.
  • Comfortable with information technology, HRMIS and examining how to improve work flows.
  • Has a structured and methodical approach to work and meeting deadlines.
