About the opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Human Resources Business
Partner (HR BP) to join the Reform Workforce Team.

The Reform Workforce Team is leading significant organisational change initiatives across WA Country Health Service (WACHS), supporting workforce transition, organisational design, recruitment, employee consultation and implementation of new service delivery models.

Working closely with senior leaders, managers and key stakeholders, the HR BP will provide contemporary human resource advice, business partnering and workforce support across a range of reform projects and initiatives.

Key responsibilities

The successful applicant will:

  • Provide strategic and operational human resource advice to managers and project leads.
  • Support workforce reform and organisational change initiatives across WACHS.
  • Assist with workforce transition activities, including consultation, employee movement processes and implementation planning.
  • Support recruitment, selection and appointment processes associated with reform activities.
  • Develop workforce reports, briefing notes, correspondence and executive documentation.
  • Build productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.

Essential requirements

Applicants should demonstrate:

  • Experience providing contemporary human resource advice and business partnering services.
  • Sound knowledge of human resource management principles, employment legislation, industrial instruments and workforce policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes.
  • Strong communication, consultation and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse complex workforce issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience supporting organisational change, workforce projects or reform initiatives will be highly regarded.

Current WA Health employees (including permanent, fixed term and employees currently on secondment) are eligible to apply.
