This is a fixed term, full time vacancy available for 12 months, with the possibility of extension subject to business requirements.
About the role
The HR Project Manager will lead a strategic technology procurement process, for a Human Capital Management System (HCMS), to establish a contemporary human resource and payroll management solution for the Department.
The project will include a rigorous evaluation of current practices against contemporary offerings, with the outcome to focus on process digitisation and consolidation of HR applications.
Suitability Requirements
Through the recruitment process, we will be looking for a candidate who can demonstrate skills, experience and attributes in relation to the following:
- Experience - Leading and directing HCMS enterprise technology procurement projects, in a complex organisation, including the development and negotiation of business cases, gathering of requirements, evaluation of vendors, managing due diligence processes, and contract award activities.
- Skills - Overseeing, tracking and communicating the status of project metrics and deliverables, managing risk, identifying issues and implementing strategies to ensure outcomes are met within the agreed timeframes and business objectives.
- Attributes - Being a strong team player with experience leading engagement with senior leaders, internal and external stakeholders.

Permanent, fixed term, full time and part time appointments may be offered during this period.
