The role
As the General Manager Investigations and Intelligence, you will form part of a dynamic leadership team responsible for leading and overseeing all gaming and wagering investigations into potential breaches of legislation, directions, rules and regulatory requirements. The role is responsible for directing investigative and intelligence activities, ensuring compliance outcomes are achieved through effective risk-based regulatory interventions, and maintaining high standards of investigative practice, governance and reporting.
Drawing on your extensive experience in investigations, intelligence, compliance, law enforcement or regulatory environments, you will play a vital role in protecting the integrity of the gaming and wagering sectors by leading complex investigations, supporting informed regulatory decision-making, and ensuring enforcement actions are undertaken in accordance with legislative requirements and investigative best practice.
Your leadership, investigative and analytical skills, together with your experience in intelligence, enforcement or regulatory environments, will be key to your success in this role. You will bring the ability to analyse complex information, manage risk, provide authoritative advice on sensitive matters, and lead high-performing teams in delivering quality investigative outcomes. You will also demonstrate strong capability in overseeing investigation programs, driving continuous improvement, developing staff capability, and building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the Commission's regulatory objectives.
