We are seeking suitable applications for Food Service Attendants to join our Patient Support Services team at Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group (SCGOPHCG).

This is a recruitment pool for Permanent Full-Time / Part-Time, Fixed Term Full-Time / Part-Time and Casual appointments. Fixed Term and Casual appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur until 31 May 2027.

What is our Food Service Attendant role?

This position assists in the provision a complete food and beverage service to patients, including the preparation, production, serving and delivery of food and beverages and extending to maintaining the hygiene of patient wares, catering equipment and a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) environment.

  1. Patient/Customer-Focused Service: Describe a time when you provided exceptional patient or customer service. Explain the situation, the steps you took and the outcome of your actions.
  2. Teamwork: Describe a time when you worked successfully as part of a team. Explain the situation, your role within the team, the actions you took and the results achieved.
  • A detailed Resume which sets out your qualifications, capabilities and experience relevant to this position.
  • References - the names and contact details of two (2) referees. It is preferable for one of your referees to have been a recent supervisor.

Applicants must ensure their nominated referees are available to provide references when requested, as failure to do so may result in them being deemed unsuitable. 

Eligibility to Apply: To be suitable for appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia.
