Tenure: 

The Construction Training Fund has one part-time, fixed-term opportunity in a job share arrangement working Mondays and Tuesdays for 12 months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Who are we?
The CTF is a small team responsible for administration of a levy on all building and construction works in Western Australia.  We use this levy to assist in building a skilled workforce by funding training and programs for apprentices, trainees and their employers in the building and construction industry.

Our modern offices are based in Belmont with ample free parking onsite.

Job Description
The Executive and HR Coordinator provides high level executive and business support to the Chief Executive Officer ensuring the efficient operation of the Office of the CEO. The role also undertakes the coordination of all human resource functions, including learning and development, payroll, policy development and the provision of advice on human resource matters.

Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

  1. Demonstrated experience providing executive and human resource support and advice ideally within a government environment.
  2. Advanced technical skills using a range of business applications including MS Office Suite, database, record management and recruitment management systems.
  3. Well developed conceptual, analytical and evaluation skills with the ability to provide advice and interpretation on a wide range of issues.
  4. Strong coordination, planning and organisational skills including the ability to supervise others.
  5. Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to improving organisational performance and integrity using a collaborative and team focused approach.
  7. Strong communication (interpersonal and written) skills including experience developing reports and liaising at a senior level.
