Piara Waters Senior High School (SHS) is situated in the beautifully landscaped suburb of Piara Waters, approximately 25kms south of Perth. The school is surrounded by luscious greenery and forms part of the vibrant, multicultural community of Piara Waters. The school commenced with Year 7 students in 2023, and presently has Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 cohorts. Each year the school adds to its growing cohort, until it reaches Year 12 in 2028.

The Role
The Enrolment and Curriculum Support Officer provide high-level administrative support to the Principal, Deputy Principals and teaching staff to ensure the effective and efficient coordination of enrolments, curriculum and student administration processes. The role plays an important part in maintaining accurate student and teacher timetables, curriculum grids, class structures and adjustments, while supporting the smooth delivery of key academic and assessment processes across the school.
The successful applicant would coordinate examination arrangements, including examination rosters, venues and supervisors, Special Examination Conditions and the collation and distribution of examination materials. The role will also oversee Parent–Teacher Online processes and subsequent Parent–Teacher interview days, including managing the online booking system and ensuring appointments are accurately confirmed and communicated.
Corporate services staff members at Piara Waters SHS are flexible and dedicated to working collaboratively to ensure a strong, responsive administrative service is provided to staff, students and the wider school community. They use their strong knowledge of Department of Education programs and platforms to manage information databases and use their strong interpersonal and communication skills to address queries, problem solve and maintain a high-level of attention to detail.
The Enrolment and Curriculum Support Officer works closely with members of the Executive Team and the Head of Operations, using their strong knowledge of administration and timetabling systems to support the daily functions of the school.
A key component of the role is ensuring students are accurately and appropriately enrolled in specialist programs, NAPLAN testing and Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs within required timeframes. The position is also responsible for developing and communicating schedules for curriculum reporting requirements, monitoring deadlines and ensuring that required information is collected and reports are generated accurately and efficiently.
