We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2028. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

As a Mainstream Education Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of planned educational programs and creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment for students. In this role, you will collaborate as part of a highly dedicated team environment. Education Assistants should ideally possess good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills to support the implementation of individual or small group programs, as well as support the general health and wellbeing of students. Applicants who possess strong organisational skills and use initiative to assist with the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment would be highly regarded.

Working under teacher direction in a diverse role, you will provide support to help ensure the learning environment is inclusive and relevant, with the health and safety of students remaining a high priority.

A commitment to supporting positive student engagement in accordance with school policies and programs would be viewed favourably. Applicants should ideally demonstrate a genuine passion for working with young children and contributing positively to the school community.
