If you are passionate about justice, inclusion and supporting people with complex needs, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

Join our multidisciplinary team as a Disability Justice Clinician or Senior Disability Justice Clinician, where you will support people primarily with intellectual or cognitive disabilities who are involved in the justice system. Drawing on evidence-based approaches, including the Good Lives and Risk-Need-Responsivity models, you will help individuals achieve safer, more positive outcomes by enhancing their quality of life, supporting successful community transitions and reducing the risk of reoffending.

As a Disability Justice Clinician/Senior Disability Justice Clinician, you will:

• Deliver positive behaviour support interventions and person-centred, family-focused approaches to support individuals with disability who are involved in the justice system or transitioning from custodial settings into the community.
• Undertake comprehensive assessments, develop and implement tailored support plans, and evaluate outcomes to improve quality of life, reduce offending behaviours and support successful community transitions.
• Work collaboratively with individuals, families, carers and multidisciplinary stakeholders to develop practical and effective strategies that respond to complex needs.
• Apply your professional expertise to contribute to a high-performing team environment, share knowledge and support positive outcomes for individuals accessing the Disability Justice Service.
• Use evidence-informed practices and relevant service delivery models to identify risks, promote independence and enhance an individual's capacity to participate safely and successfully within their community.

Opportunities Available

• Recruitment Pool: This recruitment pool may be used to fill various fixed term or permanent, full-time and part-time positions arising within the next 12 months.

There are currently a number of positions available for immediate filling.

You must have a Tertiary Degree or qualification approved equivalent as stated on the JDF.
