About the role
This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of Science at one of Australia’s leading museums.
As Director Science, you will guide multidisciplinary teams, champion research and collections, and connect scientific knowledge with the issues that matter most to Western Australia, while contributing to conversations and outcomes that resonate globally.
Beyond the Science directorate, you will contribute to the WA Museum’s broader vision as a member of the Executive Management Team.

Eligibility to Apply
- To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia at the time of appointment. This may include Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, or holders of a valid Visa that permits employment in Australia.
- A current (within six (6) months) National Police Clearance Certificatewill be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.

- Availability to travel intra- or inter-state as required.
