We are seeking a Developer to join our high performing software development team progressing ChemCentre’s bespoke Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and delivering other special projects.

About the role
This position supports the LIMS project by working collaboratively with senior developers to deliver against predefined backend and user interface development tasks. Using Microsoft technologies such as .NET Core, Angular and MS SQL Server, the successful applicant will have some degree of autonomy in how solutions are developing within established in-house coding patterns. along with experience in project documentation, coding, troubleshooting and QA.
This is a dynamic role that will alternate activities according to business needs. As such, it will progressively be applied to support work within the modernisation project development team which will involve undertaking a variety of duties including planning, designing, developing, testing, and deploying of technical solutions as well as monitoring and operational support tasks. Technical knowledge of Angular based web applications is essential.
This is a fixed term (full time) vacancy for 12 months, with the possibility of extension and / or permanency. Applicants assessed as suitable but not recommended for this vacancy may be considered for similar positions for up to 12 months after the selection process is finalised.

For a fixed term appointment, you must have valid Australian working rights for the full contract period. ChemCentre is not able to provide employer visa sponsorship arrangements for this vacancy.
Prior to commencing employment, a National Police Clearance, WA Police Force Integrity Check, fitness for work assessment via alcohol and drug testing, and proof of identity will be required.
