The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional to join the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure as a Customer Service Officer (Level 3) based in Kalgoorlie. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality customer service and providing first point of contact resolution to a diverse range of customers across multiple service channels.
As a Customer Service Officer, you will assist customers with a broad range of enquiries and transactions, provide advice on licensing and regulatory requirements, and support the delivery of essential transport-related services. Working within a collaborative and supportive team environment, you will use your problem-solving skills, customer focus and attention to detail to ensure positive outcomes for customers while maintaining the integrity of departmental records and processes.

The Ideal Candidate
The panel will be assessing applicants against the following suitability requirements:
- Experience in a dynamic customer service environment with the ability to multi-task.
- A proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute positively to the achievement of set goals.
- Well-developed oral and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively handle challenging customer enquiries.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using computer applications and an ability to rapidly acquire new technological skills.
- Willingness to work within set timeframes and adhere to schedules seeing tasks through to completion.
