Building the infrastructure that shapes Western Australia’s future.
The Office of Major Infrastructure Delivery (OMID) is responsible for planning, procurement, financing, and delivery of the State’s major infrastructure. As the lead agency for social and non-residential infrastructure, OMID delivers high value (exceeding $100 million), highly complex or high-risk projects across the health, justice, cultural, sporting, emergency services, and primary industry sectors.
It brings together the best of program and project management, procurement, contract management, finance, commercial, stakeholder engagement, communications, sustainability, and governance to ensure Western Australia’s infrastructure is built safely, sustainably and with maximum public benefit.
OMID delivers projects that make a real difference to every Western Australian with new hospitals, sports, culture and entertainment centres, transport upgrades and training, justice and research facilities.
OMID is a part of the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure (DTMI), which is responsible for coordinating the State’s transport operations, leading strategic planning and policy development, and delivering safe and sustainable transport services as part of the wider Transport Portfolio.
The Opportunity
As Corporate Strategy Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping how OMID plans, measures performance and responds to emerging priorities. You’ll lead the development and continuous improvement of corporate strategy, organisational planning and performance frameworks, providing evidence-based insights and strategic advice to support informed decision-making. Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and stakeholders across Government, you’ll translate complex policy and performance information into clear priorities and recommendations, helping ensure OMID remains aligned with Government objectives while delivering some of Western Australia’s most significant infrastructure projects.
This is an opportunity to apply your strategic expertise in a dynamic environment, where your work will help shape organisational priorities and support the successful delivery of major infrastructure across Western Australia. To learn more about OMID and the significant projects we’re involved in delivering, see here.
