The role
Our Information Management Services Branch supports and guides all departmental employees to comply with their legal obligations for information and records management by; maintaining and implementing the department's approved Record Keeping Plan.
As the Coordinator DMS Support, you will be managing a team of three, and the team is responsible for managing the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) and related systems availability, integrity and controls.
On a day-to-day basis, you could be coordinating and leading the team including training and performance development, coordinating first level diagnoses, investigations, recording and resolution of incidents, collaborating with both peers and stakeholders to resolve complete EDRMS related systems issues, managing team workloads and priorities, and contributing to the branch policy development and strategic planning, as well as other key duties.
You will bring to this role your ability to liaise, negotiate and interact with a range of stakeholders.
Please note, whilst you will be based at our Cannington location, travel to other metro locations may be required depending on business needs.

While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies (permanent, fixed-term, full-time or part-time) within the department and across the WA public sector for the next 12 months, from the date that the recruitment breach period has been finalised.
Eligibility
To be eligible for fixed term employment you must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia or have a valid visa to live and work in Australia for the duration of the fixed term employment at the time of application.
To be employed with LGIRS, you must meet the pre-employment requirements of the position and provide consent to undertake relevant pre-employment screening, which may include a Conflict of Interest Declaration, medical assessment, psychometric assessment, Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, and/or other relevant checks and clearances.
