What is our Consultant - Radiologist role?

This position is responsible for leading the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist medical services to patients. This includes:

• Promoting patient safety and quality of care.
• Providing leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers.
• Working in collaboration with the Head of Department and other Consultants to achieve national, state and North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) performance standards and targets.
• Working within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Medical Credentialing and Scope of Clinical Practice Committee.
