The Opportunity
We are excited to offer a permanent Client Services Manager opportunity within our IT Services function.
As Client Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how technology services are experienced across the Insurance Commission. You will lead the delivery of secure, reliable and responsive ICT services that place customer needs at the centre of service design, operational decision-making and continuous improvement.
Leading multidisciplinary ICT support teams, you will foster a culture where people listen, collaborate and take ownership of the customer experience. You will oversee end-to-end ICT service management, including IT operations, end-user computing, device lifecycle services, user onboarding and offboarding, and effective management of incidents, problems and changes.
As the key link between Information Technology and the business, you will build trusted relationships with stakeholders and service partners, translate customer needs into meaningful service improvements, and use performance insights to enhance service quality, responsiveness and value. Your leadership will help ensure technology services enable the Insurance Commission to achieve its strategic objectives while delivering positive outcomes for the Western Australian community

About You
You are an experienced and customer-focused ICT service leader who understands that exceptional technology services begin with listening to customers, understanding their needs, and delivering reliable and meaningful outcomes.
You will bring demonstrated experience in:
- Leading and managing ICT services within a complex organisational environment, with a strong commitment to customer service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Leading, mentoring and empowering multidisciplinary teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and responsive service delivery.
- Applying ITIL-aligned service management practices, including incident, problem and change management.
- Managing service performance through service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), operational reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Building and maintaining effective stakeholder, vendor and service provider relationships, whilst demonstrating sound financial management capability.
- Engaging, influencing and communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Using enterprise service management platforms, such as ServiceNow, to support efficient, measurable and customer-focused service delivery.
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry certification.
