This is a Fixed Term Part Time appointment until 30/06/2027, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency, at 38 hours per fortnight.

Position Profile: This position provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and clerical support to the WA Country Health Service (WACHS) central office Allied Health Program team in matters relating to clinical education. The position will support the Allied Health Program to develop, coordinate, delivery and evaluate clinical education and training activities for allied health professionals.

Area Profile: The WA Country Health Service is the largest country health system in Australia and one of the biggest in the world, providing health services to approximately half a million people, including 45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million square kilometre area. The organisation comprises seven regions, with a strong network of public hospitals, health services and health centres located across rural and remote Western Australia. Our core business is the provision of quality, accessible health services to country WA residents and visitors.

Suitability Criteria:

The suitability requirements below are derived from the Job Description Form and define what will be assessed to determine your suitability for the role:

  • Demonstrative experience in providing business support to a team, preferably within a health context.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal, written and report writing, with the ability to liaise effectively with people across all organisational levels
  • Demonstrated advanced levels of computer skills, including use of Microsoft 365 applications and other applications such as rostering, invoicing and learning management systems.
  • Well-developed planning, organisational, problem solving, research and analytical skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Desirable - Experience in providing support to education / learning & development teams.
