The Role

Associate Principals work collaboratively within a framework of negotiated areas of responsibility. The successful applicant would work closely with the Principal as part of the school’s executive team to provide educational leadership, innovation, strategic planning, and promotion of the school’s vision, mission and values in the school community. They will also work closely with the Year 7 and 8 support team.

To be successful in the role you will ideally be highly motivated, energetic and possess the qualities needed to bring people together, identify opportunities and establish new initiatives. You will ideally display effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop and maintain positive partnerships and collaborate effectively with others.

Your forward-thinking and strategic planning skills should enable you to forecast the school’s needs and priorities, to effectively develop and implement successful strategies that maintain our reputation as one of Western Australia’s leading schools. You should anticipate change and put strategies in place to ensure the school is equipped to meet student learning outcomes and performance expectations for years to come.

  • obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
  • consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
