As the Assistant Director ICT Strategy and Investment, you:
Will be leading the development and implementation of holistic and integrated Information and Technology Strategies and Plans. You will engage with key stakeholders to establish and deliver ICT Investment management strategies, plans and lifecycle management that support Communities Information and Technology Strategy outcomes and aligns with the governments Public Sector reform agenda. Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring compliance and alignment between Departmental Strategies, Services and Digital transformation activities, and emerging Information best practise and technology directions by setting the ICT Architecture Reference Standards, Strategy, Plans and Processes for the adoption of changes.
- Establishing and monitoring ICT Investment initiatives, from concept to business case and initiates the assessment of consequences and risks arising from decisions to modify Systems or Projects incorporated in Directorate Plans.
- Providing strategic advice concerning emerging Information and technology best practise, technologies and trends, and their application to support current and future Information and Technology Service Delivery.
- Represents the Department and Directorate in consultations and negotiations with Government Agencies and other relevant bodies.
